Roulette dealers could have sighed with relief without resorting to annoying necessity of seeking appropriate trainers, had the state of Ohio allowed for casino gambling. A Macedonian couple has launched a Gaming College to train dealers, specializing in such casino games as roulette, poker, blackjack and craps.
The demand for professional roulette dealers is so high that some casinos are already waiting to snap away the school’s graduates the minute they receive sufficient training. This is a first gaming school in Ohio, situated in a two-room suite in a Macedonia office building. The head instructor of the school, Jo Ann Squillante said that organizers did not wish for the facility to have a casino-like appearance, since it is a professional place after all.
The school makes sure not to use any valuable equipment or real money, though the inside setting is Vegas flavored with roulette, blackjack and poker tables as well as several slot machines poised for the student’s disposal.
The organizers believe that after the graduation, participants would be skilful enough to work at any given casino in either roulette, poker or any other casino games, provided that Ohio legalizes casino gambling.
