The launch of a Bermuda croupier training centre is on the way to arise on an island where casino gambling is illegal. This would be the joint venture of the Spinning Wheel Club and a Las Vegas consultant. Steve Simons, the manager of the Spinning wheel said that it is a one time opportunity for individuals to get an honorable profession in such casino games as roulette, blackjack and craps, which will abound them with self esteem and pride.
Currently, the club covers the full suit of casino game course on roulette, blackjack, craps, poker and baccarat. Saturday, at noon is set to be the open day for pitching the benefits and sizing up the interest. The tuition ranges from $680 for a six-week course for a single game, to $400 for a four-week course. Multiple course packages ranges from $1,503 to $2,378.
The PLP Government, headed by the Alex Scott’s leadership has voiced its opposition to gambling and casinos, but some members, like Tourism Minister, Ewart Brown appear to be less averse towards this issue.
