Rapid Roulette, an electronic game mimicking table roulette, is played the same way, only players have no intercation with one another, since they are sitted at individual terminals wagering on a touch screen.
A scam taking place in Crown Casino was recently exposed. It involved Deasy Widjaja, 28 of Melbourne, who was charged in bribing one of the casino employees to manually alter the winning numbers in Rapid Roulette, so that the numbers she had betted on would allow her to rake $66,675. Eight of these “bettng”occasions have allegedly elapsed bewteen 2003 and 2004.
Out of eight presented charges, the woman pleaded not guilty only on charges related to obtaining property by deception and receiving a secrete commission. The lawyer, Tim Hoare representing the women insisted on original charges to be replaced by the alternative ones, since the co-offender, a forner Crown employee, was believed to have escaped to an unknown part of New Zealand without having been charged.
