One of the greatest roulette gamblers in the history was Harold S. Smith. Back in the 1960s, his popularity soared mainly due to the large bets he was staking without a blink of an eye. One of the most famous events features, Smith placing an entire casino on a single spin of roulette wheel.
An apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and in Harold’s case this is especially so. In the 1930s, his father and brother Raymond, ran roulette games along the California coast and in towns like Rio Nido. When couple of years later they were arrested, there was only one place they could escape to: Reno, Nevada. In those days, Nevada gambling though legalized was hardly developed, so the family seized the moment and established “Harolds Club” casino. The promotional efforts paid off and the club became the most famous and successful worldwide.
Harold always believed that success of roulette gambling or gambling on any other game is in the gambler’s state of mind when he is seated at the gaming table. For the high rollers who need a great deal of confidence to win, it is an absolute must. The gamblers should be able to train their minds for a winning and implant this idea deep down in their brain. If only those things could be remembered at the heat of the moment!
