Ohio, lately torn between controversial issues in the political arena is once again in the spot light. The seeming recession from the latest uproar, enforced by religious moralists on the matter of illegality of homosexual marriages, has cleared the way to another hard nut, roulette and other forms of casino gambling.
The conservative Ohioans, in the recent past have been deterred from any gambling initiatives. Not least tempted by their neighbor’s obvious revenues, yielded from the gambling endeavors, they still adhere to their archaic stance. Some Ohioans travel to their neighbors to spin a few roulette wheels and squander a few bucks at the blackjack tables, thus boosting further more the profits of the foreign residences, instead of pumping these dollars to their own coffers.
The moralistic idealism seems to have lost its influential power in the battle against extra monetary revenues. By not gambling on the roulette at their own residency, Ohioans stubbornly keep losing their jobs and money. Gambling experts foresee that the rise of viable economy, as a result of casino legalization in Ohio would supplant the possible damaging effects.
