In spite of the hub, created by the food showcase at St. John Fest carnival, parish U.S. 41, launched last Thursday night, casino entertainment was also paid tribute. The carnival is due to end on Sunday.
The casino starts to operate from 6 p.m. and will keep rolling up to midnight. On Sunday the working hours will be from 5 to 10:30 p.m. Casino guests will get a chance to play a large six wheel Roulette, Blackjack, Dice and Poker games.
The menu on Sunday night will integrate German-themes components, featuring roulanden, a pork loin with peppers and scallions, alternatively, visitors could choose pork schnitzel, served with noodles. Church volunteers will be working as waiters all through the night, offering a wide range of additional amenities, as well.
St. John the Evangelist pastor Sammie Maletta, emphasized that first and foremost, it’s a socially driven gathering, where roulette playing and food eating are naturally fused in one. Though not much monetary return is expected, people seem to enjoy the warm and friendly environment of the event and more people are getting exposed to the church
