One of the more prominent British casino operators, Stanley Leisure announced on the investment of $174 million (100 million pounds) for recreation of its casinos. Stanley’s Chief Executive, Bob Wiper maintained that the company aims to attain 17 new licenses, including regional supercasinos, within a period of five years.
The five-year plan is supposed to cover the expansion of the interior space by about 60 percent, increasing the number of electronic roulette machines and slots from 930 to 1, 925 within the first six month of inauguration of the new legislation.
Special committee was set up by the government to assess local authority strives for regional casinos. Among the criteria to be tested is the capacity of nominated casinos to revive the region.
