It appears that some Russian officials are pondering these days upon the faith of the once stout warship. The warship called Kirov, in 1989, was involved in a saving operation of the Komsomolets submarine which went on fire in the Barents Sea.
The officials are now looking for venues to launching remake of the former battle cruiser. The plan is to eliminate all the interior artillery parts so as to give a way for the swimming pool installation, a decent restaurant, roulette tables, slots and perhaps even a strip club.
Vitaly Bratkov, a correspondent for the online Pravda.ru news cited in his newsletter an anonymous Russian admiral who allegedly noted that Kirov warship could indeed become a successful entertaining outlet. Bratkov then added that it all depends on how artfully the weapons could be replaced with the restaurant kitchen, missiles with roulette wheels and machine guns with slots.
