On Friday night, the Grand Canyon Harley-Davidson will be hosting the Casino event, which is to take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Two ballrooms at the Radisson Woodland Hotel are allotted for the occasion.
A bunch of tables will be mounted with gaming accessories of roulette, blackjack, Texas hold’em and Pai-Gow games. The dealer’s job would fall on shoulders of the motorcycle chapter volunteers. The revenues will be earmarked to the coffers of local charities such as Victim Witness Services/NACASA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Flagstaff, the Guidance Center and Hope Crisis Preganacy Center. The ticket cost is $25 for a person and $40 for a couple which can be purchased at the Grand Canyon Harley-Davidson dealership in Bellemont at 774-3896. The guests will be served Southwest-style appetizers plus party trays and entertained with a wide range of raffle prizes.
The casino night coordinator and the media relation officer, Don Driver has emphasized that it has already been two years since the first launch of motorcycle raffles, where motorcycles were given away. The proceeds were ranging from $7,000 to $9,000, and routinely funneled to three or four local charities. This year, the group was determined to take up on a new fund raising venue and the decision fall on the most popular table games such as roulette, blackjack and poker.
