The Patent Office in Russia has decided to allow the use of Kenilworth Systems Corporation's patent, the Roulabette(TM), within the boundaries of Russia. This means that from now on, people will be able to play roulette, blackjack and other casino games from their own living room. They'll only have to leave the sofa for the purpose of depositing money or cashing out winnings. These transactions will be made face-to-face at Roulabette stations.
Roulabette is actually an application that allows gambling from remote terminals, not necessarily in a casino, such as the common home TV monitor. The patent has already been approved for use in the UK and USA. Now approved in Russia as well, it appears that there will be a new, improved meaning for the phrase “Russian Roulette...”
