Harrah's Maryland Heights Casino in Missouri was fined $15,000 last Wednesday. The casino had allegedly issued a player club card to a minor who gambled away $900 at the roulette table and consumed alcoholic beverages.
The minor returned four times during that period, and is estimated to have played a total of 20 hours. The fifth time, a security officer demanded identification of some sort, and summoned state gaming agents once the error was revealed.
Harrah's has 30 days to determine whether the company will pay the $15,000 fine, or attend a public hearing in order to try to defend themselves. |
