The first Joseph Maffeo Casino Benefit Night, complete with roulette, will be held November 5th, from 7:30pm to 11:30 in Nicotra's Ballroom in the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield, NY. Tickets are $100, and can be reserved at the Joseph Maffeo Foundation in Great Kills, by calling (718) 227-0812.
The night will include a buffet dinner, silent auction and casino games such as roulette. Most of the proceeds of the event will be contributed to the partnership between the Joseph Maffeo Foundation and Staten Island University Hospital, namely the Joseph Maffeo Children's Program, which helps fund the renovation and redesign of the hospital's pediatric unit. In addition, five percent of the ticket sales will be given to the Staten Island Hurricane Relief Effort.
Joseph Maffeo was killed at the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. His sister, Linda Manfredi, and her husband co-founded the Joseph Maffeo Foundation. |
