BT agilemedia, a provider of voice, text and IVR premium rate services and solutions for the participation media marketplace, has joined forces with Zone4Play Inc., a provider and developer of interactive software for the gaming industry. The two will offer a number of Participation TV games for production companies, service providers and broadcasters. Games offered will include roulette.
TV channels will now be provided with live or prerecorded programming that will allow players to play for fun, for a prize, or with real bets from their living room couch. Zone4Play will provide the gaming engine, while BT agilemedia will take care of the IVR and the SMS infrastructure. The current game list includes sudoku, deja vu, the golf wall, bombed out, hi-lo ball, dice, keno, roulette, Riverside (horse racing), speedway (car racing).
