The staff at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City can't stop laughing about one of NBA star Allen Iverson's latest visits. The Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard, who is better known at the casino for playing three-card poker, was playing at the roulette table when the incident occurred.
During one round, a woman joined the roulette table and bet on number three to hit. Undeniably confident of himself, if not a bit self-important, Iverson assumed the woman had placed the bet because it's his jersey number. However, the smirk quickly ran off his face as the woman denied his assumption and told him that she had chosen the number for two reasons. The first reason was simply because the number three was her lucky number. The second one was because it was worn by her idol, Babe Ruth! |
