| A new casino will open later this year in Croatia by the name of Le Méridien Split. Currently one of the hottest travel destinations in the world, Croatia's new casino will be situated on the county's Dalmatian Coast, overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The casino, which will span an area of 4,800 square feet, will feature a total of 140 slot machines, eight poker tables, and, last but not least, six roulette wheels. |

| Mihad Kukuljevic, a 67-year-old pensioner, was charged with threatening to burn or destroy a building in connection with threats he made at an Australian casino this past November. The event occurred at the SkyCity casino in the city of Darwin after Kukuljevic lost $200 at the roulette table. The loss left him with only the AU$1.40 he needed to ride the bus home. |
