Harrah's Entertainment's newest property opened this week in Council Bluffs, Iowa, claiming its spot as the largest casino across the state, and offering the broadest gaming and wagering options across the entire Midwest region. Horseshoe Council Bluffs opened on Wednesday evening with an invitation-only grand opening event that was ushered in by NASCAR driver Robby Gordon, who rode in on a custom-made motorcycle fitted with roulette wheels on both the front and back wheels.
The casino's 100,000 sq. ft. of gambling space hosts table games, such as roulette, as well as slots and other games. Fewer gambling options were initially anticipated for the Horseshoe; however, the state legislature recently authorized the installation of table games, one of the most popular of which is roulette.
