A non-profit organization in the town of Medway, Massachusetts, has announced that it will hold a Monte Carlo Night Fundraiser, complete with games such as roulette and blackjack. The Medway Foundation for Education, an organization devoted to helping bolster educational programs in the area, is going the route of so many other organizations by banking on the appeal of casino games to bring in the bucks.
The Monte Carlo Night Fundraiser is scheduled for Friday, May 12, and is open to anyone age 21 or older. Tickets for the event are available in advance for $35 per person and will otherwise go for $40 at the door. In addition to roulette, blackjack, and the like, the event will feature a Texas Hold ’Em tournament for an added buy-in of $50. The winner of the Texas Hold 'em tourney will take home a $500 American Express Gift Card.
