Future Publishing will launch a free monthly magazine that will cover online gambling activities including roulette, slots, craps, blackjack, sports betting and poker, of course. The online magazine to be will have a print run of 500,000 which will probably make it one of the biggest online gambling magazines in the world.
Online Gambler will be distributed with the company's present IT and games titles including PC Format, PC Gamer, PC Zone and T3, and is designed for 21 to 45 year-old male PC users and games players.
According to the publisher of Online Gambler, the magazine will deliver the three most important things required in order to make a mark in the industry of online gaming: massive scale, supporting environment for advertisers and a great audience.
The first issue will appear with the April edition of PC Format, which goes on sale on 24 March. This is the second launch into the gambling industry, after Dennis Publishing's Inside Edge in April last year. The paid-for title, edited by former City Slicker James Hipwell, has a claimed circulation of 20,000 to 30,000.
