The Sands Macao, the first western-operated casino in Asia has inaugurated the Pearl Room, an impressive new themed gaming room decorated with pearl chandeliers. The Pearl Room offers forty gaming tables of roulette, big and small, baccarat, three-card baccarat, fan tan, Caribbean stud poker, blackjack and 180 slot machines designed especially for the Asian players.
According to the chief operating officer of Sands Macao, elegance and sophistication were always a priority in Sands Macao. Playing in the Pearl Room is an opportunity for the local as it is for the outside player to experience casino games in a luxurious atmosphere.
The motto at Sand’s is to promote local talent, for that reason, all the dealers at the Pearl Room are natives, residents of Macao who were rigorously trained by Sand’s to become qualified dealers.
The Pearl Room represents an increase in the number of table games and in the number of slot machines. As mentioned earlier, the forty tables in the Pearl Room represent a 12.5% increase; the total number of table games is now 360. The addition of 180 slot machines represents an increase of 28% leaving a total of 848 slots.
